Where would you rate beard lotion? I of course did the beginner mistake and not intake nowhere near enough water and for that my skin underneath my face hair was dry/itchy and flaky. I've since been drinking more water and also have been applying beard+face lotion to help remedy the dryness of my skin. I've massaged the lotion into my beard just so it makes contact with my skin. Thanks for the awesome beard advice btw!

DC magnetic field is sensed through hair follicles and the longer your hair gets, the better tracking ability and intuition someone has. The hair is connected to the brain and nervous system. Native Americans believe having hair at terminal length makes them better hunters and more intelligent. I wonder if beard hair has the same powerful aspects. You think of royalty or wizards, etc. They always have long hair and long beards. Anyway. I've always wondered if having long hair and a long beard makes someone like ultra sensitive to their surroundings, and if so, I wonder God gave men the ability to grow a beard so they have better hunting skills. Maybe people who genetically have thicker beards, their ancestors needed more hair to travel further distance, like an antenna. So random 😂

Hello! I’m a teenager who has been growing out my beard for about a year now (I don’t have the best genetics) so it’s still quite short. My parents are forcing me to shave it but I want to keep it. They are saying it’s too frizzy and it makes me look very unpresentable. I use beard oil and beard balm but it doesn’t seem to help the frizz enough. Any suggestions or videos I should watch? I had never in my life grown a beard until COVID (in my 50s) and I didn’t start it with the intention of growing it. I just didn’t shave for about 4-5 weeks then just decided to let it go. I committed to 3 months and got past where it looked terrible. Then once I got to 3 months committed to 6, and ended up going a full year without trimming length. Probably didn’t look the greatest but I’m glad I grew it out. Still rockin it and bouncing around from about 2-4 inches in length. Your channel has helped me and so many with education and using quality products. Thanks!

How many times a week would you recommend doing this and how long should you let it sit on your face before you wash ?

Minoxidil worked great on my scalp. 6 months in and my hair is back to relative normal, much thicker than it was. But the patchy beard has remained unchanged, can't see any signs of progress unfortunately. Will give derma rolling a go, give it another 3 or 4 months, and if no progress i think i will resign myself to the fact that i am a non responder at least on my face. Still very happy to have a full head of hair, so counting my blessings on that at least :)

Great channel, Dan. I've been a beard wearer for years. Short, long and in-between. Killer most trims hurt my soul. I currently have about a 1" see through at the bottom. If i keep up on really good maintenance and care will the see through lessen and allow for more length?

Oil on a damp beard? I blow dry then use the oil 🤦🏼‍♂️ been doing it wrong

I had a beard b4 covid but my son grew his beard out. I'm so glad his job doesn't mind.

This is an amazing video, just what I needed! But I'm having a little dilemma, my beard is pretty thick when it's fully grown. But not until recently I decided to not shaving around the adams apple and the under hairs are short relatively to the beard in general which gives the beard the thin look on the sides. The thing is, do I shorten it with a guard and let it grow out again, or scissor trim the thin part only and let the sides and underbeard grow together

I love my belly button length beard split. Many years ago when I was but a young beardsman with a beard that was just touching my collar, a distinguished older gentleman looked at me as he was getting off of his Harley and said “Son, you haven’t had a beard until it splits”. A few years later I found out what he meant and have rocked my beard split ever since. When I’m walking in a stiff wind and it’s spout and blowing back half over each shoulder I am in heaven.

When does the beard grow when I use it ? Is it a month ? Or more
